The south's most longest running weekly blues event, Elwood Blues Club, is moving to the Prince Public Bar from Sunday, 17th May. Their first show will feature Australian blues legend Ian Collard (ARIA award winner, former Collard Greens & Gravy, Backsliders, Three Kings) and will run throughout the month of May.

The Elwood Blues Club, which started over 15 years ago, is well known for encouraging new blues artists and supporting established musicians. Guests have included Dutch Tilders, Mike Rudd, Rob McKenzie, Robert Susz, Lloyd Spiegel, Ian Collard, Shannon Bourne, James Southwell, Wayne Jury, Tracey Miller, Paulie Bignell, Brian Strafford and more.

The club’s house band, the EBC Allstars, welcomes amateur and professional musicians to join them each week for one of several three-song sets.

Elwoood Blues Club spokesman Adrian Reeves said; "The EBC Allstars look forward to playing at this demonstrably blues-friendly venue south of the Yarra each week".

To complement this Sunday afternoon of entertainment, the Prince Public Bar offers the $15.00 Sunday Roast. Our chefs deliver a traditional style roast to punters with a rotation of meats each week, served with a side of traditional, seasonal vegetables. Just like Mum cooks it.

Kitchen opens from 12pm
